PhoneTracker (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, when it’s uploaded to our servers, and how you can control or delete it.

Information We Collect & Upload

• One-Time Location Snapshots: We collect a single GPS coordinate only when you tap “Share Location.” This is uploaded securely and is not part of continuous tracking.
• Contact Information: Includes the phone number and (optionally) name of your chosen recipient. Stored only after you initiate a share.
• Profile Images: Optional contact images you upload are securely encrypted and accessible only via a unique, unguessable link.

How We Use & Share Your Data

• To deliver your one-time location snapshot securely to the recipient.
• We do not stream or continuously track your location.
• Recipients can delete shared snapshots by long-pressing the icon and selecting “Delete.”
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data for advertising or marketing purposes.

Your Consent & Control

Before any data upload, standard iOS permission dialogs will request access to features like Contacts and Location. These are clearly labeled in the app.

• Snapshot Deletion: Recipients may remove snapshots at any time via the map interface.
• App Permissions: You can revoke access under Settings > PhoneTracker at any time.

Data Retention & Deletion

All shared snapshots are temporary and automatically deleted within 24 hours.

You may also request full deletion of your data by contacting us.

Data Security

We use Google Firebase Authentication, Google Firebase Firestore and Google Firebase Storage with HTTPS/TLS for encrypted transmission. All stored data is encrypted at rest and secured using unguessable tokenized links.
